Our story begins back in 1993 when the four of us met as freshman pledging Phi Kappa Sigma. Oneonta State University’s
based fraternity initiated the relationship that has grown until this day. Bob (Grundle), James (Moorhead), Jon (Loki)
and I, Dave (Kubla) were all good students. We attended class regularly and understood that grades came before
socializing...well not really ☺. Our time at Oneonta was one of the best things that happened to us, experiencing
the bond of brotherhood, while it may seem trivial to some, does exist and has transcended time for the four of us.
Master craftsmen built Garden Social with every detail thought through. Our incredible rustic decor is highlighted with
Ohio barn wood from the late 1800’s, reclaimed brick and warehouse shelving from NYC, custom tables, a magnificent chandelier,
transition archway, and a beautiful kitchen.
Our outside beer garden is highlighted by a 40-foot cedar pergola, an additional bar and a unique landscape design that allows
customers to escape the rigors of life and come to have a great time with friends and family. Garden Social is an architectural
masterpiece that offers unforgettable dining and socializing for our patrons.
Our food menu is truly unique, simple yet sophisticated...upscale comfort food combining tantalizing American fair classics
with amazing entrees brought to you by our amazing Executive Chef and Partner Kevin Liebov in our state-of-the art-kitchen.
Our beer menu features local breweries from Long Island, NYC and NY State. We believe that supporting local businesses
and organizations are paramount for the success of our company and for the community at large.
We are excited to open our doors to the residents of East Meadow and local communities as our philosophy of work hard
but take time to enjoy life and each others company is key!
Garden Social is committed to helping those in need. We have partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association
of Long Island and the New York City fire department 343 Foundation, to help all those that are suffering and in need.
Please join us at our Annual Alzheimer’s Golf Benefit or one of the many 343 Foundation Fundraisers.

On September 11th 2001, we lost a great friend and fraternity brother, Kevin O. Reilly. His spirit and those of the thousands we lost on that day will always be remembered.
Rest In Peace Kevin.
